Went to Australia and New Zealand back in January. Both countries were amazing!

I went shark cage diving in Port Lincoln, SA which is about a 30 min flight from Adelaide. One of the best experiences I've ever had. I saw the Australian Open in Melbourne, which is a fantastic sports city. Also saw a Melbourne Victory game. Went snorkelling up at the Great Barrier Reef which is something everyone needs to see in their lifetime. Went down to the Gold Coast, which is a lot like Miami and very Americanized. Sydney was an amazing city, and I'd say one of the best if not best city I'd ever visited. Fantastic waterfront, skyline, restaurants, bars, beaches, weather. It has everything!

Was supposed to have a long stopover in Dubai on the way back, though I was put on another flight from Melbourne since the original one was cancelled due to engineering problems. Still saw a bit of the city at night, but wish I had the full day there as I was supposed to. I wouldn't mind going there for a week or two, though Dubai is quite expensive.

I'm not really one into cruises. Yeah they'd be nice and relaxing to go on for a week, but I'm young and I'd rather travel/explore other places before I'm stuck on a boat for a week. Don't get me wrong, they are probably nice, but I'd rather spend that $ and travel to other places.

I've been lucky to have gone on 6 cruises, they are a blast! Although it depends what you are looking for. If you're goal is to just drink and relax then resort is the way to go. If you want to have a large variety of things to do, see some cool places, and have great food... go cruise!

Mine is San Francisco in May. For a conference, going solo but will know a few people there at the meeting. Looking forward to it!

    1. Wearing sunscreen at any point will immediately identify you as a sissy, and since you've already lost any sort of manly moustache showdown by default, your cred really can't take the hit. Suck it up.

    2. Hydration is key. Don't be a sap and pay gringo prices for bottled water though, tap is good enough for the locals and it's good enough for you too. Drink it down.

    3. Travelling on the cheap is easy if you know where to cut costs. Needless registration and safety fees for taxis are typically passed along, but can be avoided by the cunning traveller. Get on in there.

    Mauritius.

Look it up. I'm going for the second time later this year to visit my fiancée's family.
