The best worst movie of all time is Jaws the Revenge. Even Sharknado can't top that.

What Michael Caine said about the movie:

“I have never seen it, but by all accounts it is terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific.”

I do find it pretty amusing that the first 4 somehow made enough money for a 5th one to get made

    I love that line.

My favourite part is Mario Van Peebles didn't bother reading the script, improv'd all his lines and affected a heavy Jamaican accent as a dude from the Bahamas...fuck it, close enough!

He had to skip the Oscars that year to film that movie, and he won best actor.

Reshoots even, for an ending that was still fucking awful.

Haha everything about that movie's funny, I didn't even know there was a 5.

    Damn, that's a good movie.
It's fantastic. One of my favorite movies I've seen in the last year.

Dunkirk was phenomenal. I saw it in standard, not IMAX, and it still nearly gave me PTSD. I was literally sweating and uncomfortable for half the movie and I think that was the intent.

Anyone plan on seeing Detroit? Hearing impressive things. Not much rewatch value, but an important story that will make you angry for all the right reasons.

Trailer for Darren Aronofsky's new film, mother!, dropped the other day. His films always have a good time element of weirdness to them. Hope this one is good.

Logan Lucky looks fun, and the reviews are excellent thus far. Soderbergh's return from "retirement".

I saw The Dark Tower today and it was nowhere near as bad as the reviews make it seem, IMO. It's not some groundbreaking achievement in filmmaking, but I enjoyed it pretty much the whole way through. It was exciting, tense and Elba and particularly McConaughey were both really good. So was Tom Taylor. They may have tried to jam too much material into an hour and a half but I'm not sure why this movie got so widely panned.
