Nafro, my team was in full blown celebration mode this week and thought you had a chance for first overall and then you ended up not even winning your division FFS?

Anyways wild card week is a crap shoot, I was a top team all year last year and ended up getting overtaken by LAA for the division during the second to last week, and then blown out by OAK during the wild card matchup, happy to enjoy the bye this time around, and believe there will be some cash coming my way, hopefully enough to enjoy some quality time at my favourite rub and tug. This sploge is for you buddy, you should of pulled the trigger on that deadline deal instead of fellating all over J. Villar.

It should make you feel better that you put a wrinkle in my season. But maybe also taught me how I can still squeak out a win against a superior team this week.

Note to Ryan Howard. Have one more September to remember. Go out taking a shit ton of walks and hitting a whole bunch of bombs! Remember..."no one cuts back Ryan Howard's playing time"

Actually man I regret trading Ervin Santana for Robertson instead of Minor and Guerra for Kintzler.

My biggest problem (Loney) has been removed. All my holds guys became closers (not so bad). I am glad I kept Villar. I like my outfield long term and I think Villar is going to be a huge asset as a top 5 shortsop moving forward. Two top 5 SS in this league is huge. I may even end up with two top 5 C'S next year.

Man, I really feel for you. You're finally getting Kershaw back but you weren't able to hold on in the interim.

    Sorry man.
I discounted you early on, but you made a great surge near the end. Even though you had a great final week, so did Pittsburgh.
Surprising to see Milwaukee (North) who led the division for most of the year, end up in 4th spot.

Toughest part is that I can hang it all on one player.

If Heyward has even a bad year I get in - maybe even win the division. But he had to have a nightmare season.

You've had some bad luck. IIRC around 30 games over 0.500 both years, but neither good enough for a WC.

Thanks, but I probably brought this upon myself. Despite attempting to bolster my entire pitching staff in the offseason from starters to closers, none of them worked out. Rosenthal and Doolittle were injured/bad, I traded away Stroman midseason for a pitcher who has not made a start since April, and my Kershaw replacement was Matt Boyd. I could roll with 3 starters when CK's excellence was carrying me, but afterwards it really just exposed my lack of depth.
