Adrian Morejon - Unimpressive thus far. Could've done better given other picks available.
Forrest Whitley - Turning out to be one of the best pitching prospects in baseball.
Yanio Perez - Got off to a good start in A ball, but will have to hit better to retain prospect status.
    Victor Garcia - Shit.

#8 Lourdes Gurriel (I still believe)
#38 Jorge Ona great pick...terrible player
#68 Heath Quinn - You don't want to know who Speedy wanted here.

    69. Jesus Luzardo - Love this pick here. Was a likely first round talent in MLB if not for TJ. Developing nicely, but still a ways away. Could move up prospect lists tremendously this season.
    103. Michell Miliano - This was a reach. He's, like, twelve years away.
    107. Fernando Tatis Jr. - Steal of the draft, friends.
So much Despair on that selection, right before my first pick, lol. Followed by me trading for him with Duffy going your way.

I think you should have less of an influence on the draft

Speedy's pick was from my list...but I had Quinn over Tatis and convinced him that closer to the majors was better in this case. I think we traded our next pick which may have been before Tatis was selected.

Interesting deal. I feel like either of you could drastically regret that.

See the ball and let it fly, Watch the ball soaring through the sky, Higher like a comet in the night air, Defying gravity is rare, Let the ball fly, Its homerun time!!!!!

    North's last draft

#34 Mauricio Dubon SS - Decent upside still, maybe a league average bat with some solid D

    #40 Justin Dunn P - Hasn't shown anything yet

#43 Gavin Lux SS - Prep SS with upside, hasn't done anything noteworthy as of yet

#47 Josh Staumont P - Huge arm, hits triple digits. Has zero control, looks like he could be headed for bust territory.

#55 Joey Wentz P - Great start to pro career, looks like he will turn into a solid #3/4, with #2 upside.

#61 Garrett Stubbs C - Had a rough 2017 at the plate, fringe back-up at this point

#78 Sal Romano P - Big fastball, called up midseason by the Reds and showed some promise. If he improves his secondaries he could be a solid #3 type of workhorse.

#80 Dinelson Lamet P - Huge upside, SD called him up and he didn't disappoint, 11 k/9 over 114 IP. Has command issue's at times that need to be worked out, but could turn into a bonafide ace.

#81 Luis Arraez 2B- Torn ACL derailed his 2017 season

#101 Nick Pivetta P - As with Romano and Lamet, has some pretty nice upside with command issue's. 9.5 k/9 over 133 IP, but had a real hard time keeping the ball in the park.

#146 Logan Shore P - Pitched quite well at high A, but he is 23

#156 Nate Smith P - Season ending surgery will keep him out until 2019

#160 Taylor Williams P - In the show as a RP this past season, has potential to be a #4/5 still though

    #163 Juremi Profar 3B - Bum

#174 Zach Jones - P Injured all year

A few hits and more misses

    C+

Will Myers---> Rendon ---> Willy Adames, Steven Matz, Sandy Alcantara.

    Not bad Mr. Chappy.

    2017 Draft
1-30 Ian Anderson (RHP - ATL) solid and safe pick should be a decent MLB player
2-28 Norge Ruiz (RHP - OAK) pretty crappy start to MiLB career, probably sucks (drafted early as I always feel like I'm missing out on the international prospects)
2-29 Keibert Ruiz (C - LAD) will likely be a good player....in 6 years (note for future don't draft 18yr olds)
4-30 Ryan Mountcastle (SS - BAL) good pick at this spot, have had overall good luck with the BAL farm (Mancini, Stewart); believe it’s the new market inefficiency
5-23 Tyler Krieger (2B - CLE) looked overmatched in AA, likely never sniffs the MLB
6-30 Adonis Medina (RHP - PHI) excellent choice for the last overall pick of the draft - traded in 2017 for 50% of Adrian Beltre who of course went ahead and got hurt to fuck me over in the playoffs
