"We don't have to plan for a rebuild. But all 30 teams have to stay agile, and have to understand that we're dealing with human beings, and these assets to organizations are human and change and evolve. I think what we've tried to do is become more flexible and agile, and to sustain championships is to build from within."

Solid pick. Good chance he's better than 70% of the pitchers taken before him and he could pitch in the MLB this year

He's weirdly under the radar for someone with good numbers, a 40 man roster spot and a legit shot at a rotation job. I was sure I would miss out because literally everyone else I was targeting with this pick got plunked. Only downside is that I've gone 2/2 with pitchers so far but you can't always predict how the stars line up and I don't believe in compromising your valuations to conform to a rigid strategy.

I might be looking to flip a position prospect for an arm after the draft. I'm highly tilted to bats

Talk to me after your last pick. I have lots of MiLB arms, including ones on 40-man rosters without green flags.

Would you mind going into great detail about the exact moment you felt this despair?

Solid pick. Could easily turn out like the Biagini pick last year.

Except I want him to be developed as a starter afterwards. He'll only be 22 this year.
