    Miami Marlins

Unfortunately, the Marlins weren't included in the shuffle draft that took place earlier, so they've been handed the old team in its entirety from a smart player, who made a few bad trades and ended up in that position.

    Infield:
Elvis Andrus is the headliner, which does not bode well. Alonso had a great year last year too, and will hopefully continue his flyball ways.
After that it's pretty thin, with three players unlikely to crack 250 AB.

    Outfield:
If Brantley ever gets healthy, Miami might actually have a decent outfield, with Grichuk, Pearce, Brinson and Reddick.
While they need to hold on to Brinson, one or two of the others could be swapped.

    Starters:
One of the strongest rotations in the game, and could be the very best if Urias begins to deliver on his potential. Seven pitchers in all, all expected to throw more than 20 games, and that doesn't include a couple of hot prospects. Additionally, they have the most valuable pitching asset in the game in Severino.

    Relievers:
Osuna makes a big difference. And Neshek, if he can hold up, can deliver some pretty awesome ratios.
And there's a handful of other guys that contribute, to one of the best bullpens out there.

    Other:
Miami has an embarrassment of riches, both in young players on the MLB team and minor league teams.
Brison, Mejia, Cisco, Hader, Quantrill, Kopech etc.

    Advice:
The pitching is the best in the LOD, as is their minor league system, which puts the franchise in very good shape. However, there's a dearth of offensive talent, which will see Miami lose early matchups, unless they do something to address that.

    Suggested trade:
Minor league pitching talent for a legitimate bat, and a starter for an older slugger, who can still contribute.

    Shuffle draft sounds like fun.

Tough to give up Nimmo and a first, but Iím definitely happy to get Eaton to round out my OF.

Nimmo sucks. Unless that pick is Top 5, sounds like a steal.

I really like that deal for you. Bought low on Eaton. Well done.

I have Eaton light, in Dustin Fowler. If he doesn't have a decent career, his lawsuit against the White Sox should provide a decent fall back perhaps.

So last year I spent a decent amount of the season rostering 0 Catchers. My least productive position after catcher was 1B. I now have 4 C's and 3 1B's on my roster. Does anyone think this may be moving too far to the other extreme? I do think Plawecki will be a sneaky good Waiver pick up. I think by the middle of the year he get's a lion's share of the playing time, and puts up a +100 wRC+. I have already been wrong three times today, so it's possible I am wrong.

You should never roster more than 1 catcher in the LoD. Even then, sometimes 1 is too much.

I really liked your Plawecki pickup but you're definitely stashing too many catchers.

It makes sense if you think you can trade one or more of them, but if you're currently holding 30+ players because you have a bunch of guys with red and blue flags, you're gonna have to make cuts when the season starts.

The second Nick Markakis auction of the off season is underway. Best 2019 pick offered will take home this coveted veteran OF.
