He's gonna be your version of Appel. Everyone needs their version of Appel.

I like to think there's a little Mark Appel in all of us.

I think mine is Fernando Romero. Drafted him early last year, reluctantly traded him mid season and then reacquired him at the deadline.

I need to somehow pull a 1B, 3B or OF, and DH out of my ass, so if anyone wants to trade me one of those things for a reliever, that would be super.

Markakis is for sale, and he's in your price range.

Drafted Ketel Marte. Traded him in the next offseason. Re-aquired him mid-season. Traded him again this offseason. Still holding a torch for him.

    Atlanta Braves

The Braves have been plagued with a lack of pitching since the inception of this league, but looks like they may be turning the corner.

    Infield
Goldie and Moncada are two great pieces, but after that it gets a little thin. There's not much else, with not even 100 AB projected at either 3B or SS. Work needs to be done here.

    Outfield
It's an exciting young infield with Mazara, Polanco and a resurgent Buxton. There's not much in the way of a DH, but maybe Teoscar Hernandez can fill that gap.

    Starters:
The Braves have an absurd number of starters (nine) projected to start more than 20 games, and there's some quality pitchers among them - such as C-Mart, Cole and Faria. It's an excellent staff, with a ton of depth. And there might be starts from May or Paulino.

    Relievers:
It may be the worst bullpen in the league. Duke may get a few holds, and after that most of the relievers are disposable.
This needs a significant upgrade if Atlanta is to compete for a playoff spot this year.

    Other:
Atlanta hasn't traded their picks away to Detroit like most teams in the league, and they have a robust farm system, with no real blue-chippers (maybe Groome).

    Advice:
Atlanta has far too many starters, resulting in no roster space for other areas. They can easily trade from their strength to get an adequate bullpen, and maybe a couple of infield pieces.

    Suggested Trade:
Jake Faria for an infielder, and fringe pitchers for quality relievers.

Well, you traded a 6th for him, and got a 5th back. Tidy profit.

I'm an idiot, accepted a trade with Detroit thinking I was receiving the pick and was just going to drop Iglesias. That's what happens when you just wake up sick and medicated, lol.

Wasted a move in WTPDL, too. DUMN!

Thanks. It's this pitching prospect that I'm going to take in the LoD draft.
