Speaking of a nice pluck, Tyler Naquin! Which waiver priority did the Mariners have? Don't think I would have been able to get him anyways.

Yeah, carried him all year last year, but he never really got any playing time and doesn't look like he'll get much this time either.
One of those players who would be pretty good if they ever gave him enough playing time. I said the same thing about Aaron Hicks two years ago.

Well ya, I meant for THE Mr. Met... if he signs where he isn't blocked, he might be something for the Mets org, you see.

I believe the M's were a mid-pack waiver bid, certainly better than me...

Hicks came through as a consistent top spect, there's a difference there. Did you try to move him at all?

It's pretty crazy that Naquin only got 40 PA last year after a 2.5 WAR rookie season. I can't think of an example of another young who got so little leash after a season like his 2016.

I know I had a claim in, but being near the back had no real shot.

Was between 24-27 or something around there.

Surprised to see him on waivers, but I get it...have carried a few of those guys on my roster that should be good but for whatever reason can't get any playing time. Not sure why the Indians hate Naquin...hoping they can trade him somewhere he could get regular starts.

Looks like Miami is going for it. I feel like the Yankees + Marlins make a good trade partner for Jose Altuve.

Atluve for Luis Severino, Michael Kopech, Fransico Meija

    What do you fellas say?

I say that I applaud your attempts to weaken our AL Rival.

He still may land in the central. He'd look really good manning 2nd for me.

I'm not necessarily going for it. I just come from the Anthopolous school of trading prospects that I don't believe in and praying I'm right.

I had a player kind of like Naquin last year:

    - worrisome injury issues
    - getting old to be called a prospect
    - above average, but not great, numbers in AAA
    - decent MLB results in a small sample
    - his team seemed to not like him

    I hate Tommy Pham.
