Yes, that's annoying. The last Trout owner traded him in about four hours, and I feel you should aim for the same standard.

What package did he get when he traded him?

It was probably the most criticized trade in league history. Keep in mind this was done in dec 2015.

    Jonathan Schoop
    Steven Matz
    Sonny Gray
    Micheal Conforto
    Ken Giles
    Rafael Devers
    1st and 2nd round picks

    for:

    Mike Trout
    Tony Sipp
    Scooter Gennett
    2nd and 3rd round picks

Possibly the most criticized trade in forum league history. Deservedly so. Don’t trade Mike Trout in a keep forever league with no salaries.

I'd be surprised if the next Trout trade tops that return.

Conforto, Schoop and Devers were considerably less valuable than today.

    Just for fun,

This is my offer that did not make the counter-offer threshold.
Thought it was decent. Will be interested to see the next-level offers.

    Hitters
    Whit Merrifield
    Scott Schebler
    Max Kepler

    Pitchers
    Dallas Keuchel

    Prospects
    Luis Urias
    Sixto Sanchez

Yeah, I seem to recall Schoop being waiver wire trash for a while not too long before that trade. Conforto still has big question marks imo, due to his issues hitting lefties. This year he also managed a 156 wRC+ against sliders, in spite of a 4.2% walk rate and 44.4% k rate. That doesn't seem likely to continue. He murders righties though. Devers looks pretty sweet long term.

Decent? Can you honestly say you would even think about it if you were the one with Trout?

Just got another initial offer which warrants consideration. That means there are 4 teams who have at least thrown interesting enough names at us to at least consider initial talks. The Reds will counter them later tonight but I think one of the 4 teams probably has more goods than the others so we might start there.

It's times like this that I miss North. He would have already sent out a 6-team offer involving like 50 pieces.

I look forward to your counter offer and Trout being a member of the White Sox.

Putting together my rankings and for a 30 team league (and a dispersal draft), the selection of players available is ridiculous.

Someone should do one just to honor his memory.

Yeah. Surprisingly the 4 teams who dropped out were pretty good. NJH team (reds) may have had the most talent in the whole league.
