We're getting to that time of the year where the whole league trades it's 2019 picks to Gibbers for his 2018 picks.

I get that it's hard to obtain good production out of the catching position, but there's definitely several guys I would have taken before Salvy.

I wonder when certain players belonging to one of the previous owners, who happen to have a characteristic in common with said owner, get taken.

Whenever I don't understand a post filled with an abundance of vague terms, I just assume it's some sort of veiled racism.

I want my favorite hitter to team up with Trout. These guys will get some good production with later picks

My only advice on owning Salvador Perez: trade him at the All-Star break. Notorious 2nd half slider.

You're not kidding, career wRC+ of 110 in the first half and 86 in the second half. The downside of being the most overworked catcher in baseball. Although, his games per year have been dropping steadily, I don't know if that's the Royals trying to protect him a bit or the workload just catching (heh) up to him.

Salvador Perez is by far the best dynasty player in his position group. There are few other positions in this draft that had someone as the clear cut #1 in their positional group as him. In our various trade talks so far owners are extremely reluctant to move Catchers as well. We knew better players were on the board and thought about waiting until pick 16 but we didn't want to take the chance that someone else was thinking like we were. 20 of you are just jealous that we have a better catcher than you now.
