Solid start for both the White Sox and Bluejays. Should be a close week.

Wainwright kind of sucks now IRL, but some of it might be ERA luck. His FIP is OK right now and projects OK. He also ticks a lot of boxes for this league since his K/BB should be fine and he gets groundballs.

Connorp has been squatting on that pick for a while, hoping to get a SP. I bet he's thrilled to land Wainwright for it.
And comes out laughing in my honest opinion. I'd pass a first for Waino, in a NY minute.

I know I'd probably reject a first for Shelby Miller

Not much of anything separating him and Waino. Someone should bite on this.

Exactly... I wouldn't give connorp a Cain for a 5th, I'd rather he hit the waiver wire. And that contrast is mind boggling.

More reminders that I should have tried to get way more for Alex Cobb haha , Zack Collins is off to a good start though.

He just wants me to trade him because it makes my team worse in 2017 and i'll likely meet him in the playoffs again.

    This... is 100% accurate.

I like the direction we're taking with Pillar as cornerstone.

I've had someone contact me about Robbie Ray. May as well throw his name out there for people looking for a good starter. He's only 25, so as a rebuilding team I don't have to move him. If I could get a good package of prospects though he could be had.
    RIP North49

I had no use for Hernandez with Pedroia in the fold, but Orgfiller scooping him for a 2nd really grinds my gears.

It was a bit of an impulse buy from me but given the depth that it adds to my lineup, as well as not losing anyone from the MLB roster made this an obvious move to make once the opportunity presented itself.

Even if you value him at his 2016 performance, a 2nd seems light for a legit starting 2B. Factoring in that his power surge has come via adding 20 pounds of muscle and pulling the ball in the air more often than ever, and this is too good a price to pass up. A bunch of rebuilding teams should have outbid you here.
