I'm looking to move an outfielder.

Could move Schebler, Trumbo or Kepler.
Would ideally like a starting pitcher but could consider prospects/picks also.

Trophy place could easily modify this and glue a wooden base on the bottom with plaques for past/future winners

If this is the case, that trophy is perfect.

Vote is 9-2 right now. So we're most likely going to move forward so I think we can start to discuss options. I love KK's Trophy and if someone can modify it that would be perfect.

    Any other suggestions/ideas?

Do we know which managers voted against this idea?

    Nope.

It's not a big deal if someone wins the LOD and they don't want the trophy I'm sure the previous owner won't mind hanging onto it.

But really, I wouldn't expect that to happen anyways.

I like this. Iíd be willing to sponsor the trophy in honour of my grandmother. She was the biggest jays fan. She listened to the radio broadcast, and watched on tv, while scoring every game. She did so until she passed at 91 in Ď09.

Actually I really like this idea, I woul still be willing to sponsor, but it looks like the cost is goimg to be very reasonable. If it’s 25,I would guess you could get it modified for no more than $150at the most. Which is like $5each. I don’t know if everyone would want the trophy in memory of my Grandma

    Lol.

Once we get a majority vote we can discuss what we want and the name. I won't be asking people to chip in though. A few people have reached out and said they would help which is cool but I don't want people to feel obligated or pressured to pitch in. It was my idea so I'll either pay for all of it or most of it.

I think the detractors simply don't want to have to pay to ship the trophy.
Easy solution is that the last champion holds on to it, and ships it the following year to someone willing to pay the shipping costs.

And really, if you're getting the prize money, you can afford to ship the trophy, especially if you're not contributing to the cost of the actual trophy.
Doesn't seem like a big ask. Plus, a lot of us are in Toronto, so you could actually just go on the subway and deliver the damn thing in person.

I hope ang doesn’t win next year. Shipping a trophy to his hut in Nicaragua could be costly
