My team was always good, thanks. Weird blips happen.

I know. If Wok had Kopech I would have traded him Carrasco a month ago, so I got who I was wanting out of it in the end

Lol @ trading for the despair of not using that waiver pick for 5 years watching while guys who you should've used that priority on keep passing you by.

Waiver 9 is probably worth at least an OF2 with lots of power, though, right?

I’m sitting on waiver 8. I expect to not make a claim in the next 3 years at least.

I remember when i had a waiver around 10 and finally got frustrated enough to use it.

The lucky selection? Richie effing Shaffer.

At which point you will blow it on the prayer of a dead cat bounce from a current day elite reliever.

Still surprised he never amounted to much. His minor league numbers looked so good.

I would give you a 6th MILB pick in this or next years draft

Going to see if I can get something better. If not I might accept that.

So how do you people feel about your 2017 draft. My draft last year:

    21. Juan Soto - Still love with this pick. He has the potential to be an elite prospect.
    39. Trevor Clifton - bust
    45. Will Benson - No real opinion yet. He showed his tools, but had significant contact issues.
    56. Albert Abreu - Traded mid draft to P2F for what turned out to be pick 27 this year. Happy with this pick.
    102. Ronald Guzman - Traded to Spanky for Bryan Shaw.
    109. Max Povse - looks to have like 5th starter upside. Possible bust,
    127. Luis Alexander Basabe - probably bust
    129. A.J. Minter - Love this pick. He was a huge part of my playoff run, and I think he'll have a great 2018.
    131. Josh Ockimey - still OK with it. He's up to AA and still looking like a guy.
    132. Dane Dunning - broke out in 2017 and then traded in my Tanaka deal

I'm pretty happy with the draft overall. I give myself a B.

I'm guessing this is a swap of waiver orders right. Meaning I can't have waiver #9 and #15. You'd have to get #15?

    13. Cal Quantrill - Still developing, but struggled upon promotion; traded with Kopech and Smoker for Aroldis. Win.
    28. Greg Allen - Ugh. I was all prepared to take Forrest Whitley here, and then had a change of heart to take an OF that was close to MLB ready instead. I still like him, but passing on Whitley was a mistake.
    69. Jesus Luzardo - Love this pick here. Was a likely first round talent in MLB if not for TJ. Developing nicely, but still a ways away. Could move up prospect lists tremendously this season.
    103. Michell Miliano - This was a reach. He's, like, twelve years away.
    107. Fernando Tatis Jr. - Steal of the draft, friends.
