And, knowing Nintendo, it's probably even shittier than it already looks.

Resident Evil 7 is so damn good but I am such a puss for horror games. Just got the "ingredient" for the serum (vommmmmmmm) and heading back into the main house. My ammo consists of 40 handgun rounds and two grenades, but I like my chances anyway.

I’m more excited about Skyblivon (Oblivion remade in the Skyrim engine) than I am about the Elder Scrolls 6.

    Need some advice.

I have an XBox with one TV. But I want to be able to play games like Overwatch with my son, where we can play side by side.
Is the only way to do this to buy two TV's and two XBox's. If so, would we have to buy multiple copies of these games, and multiple gold memberships?

Well, depending on your computer you could use that for one, which would remove the gold membership requirement. If you have a WOW account, you could buy Overwatch with tokens and remove that cost. Otherwise, as far as I know there's no side-by-side play for Overwatch. (I have the game, but I've never played it so I could be wrong).

Tell your son to play outside instead.

    Next problem.

It's dangerous out there. There are people who think the Earth is 6,000 years old, flat, and most disturbing that home runs and RBI are all that matter.

Xbox One shooters with local multiplayer (i.e. more than one player sharing the same screen) include Battleborne, Star Wars Battlefront (survival mode only), the HD remake of Borderlands 2, Call of Duty Black Ops 3, and the Halo Master Chief collection.

For other genres you have nearly all sports games, the Lego games, Minecraft, the Gears of War series, Resident Evil 5&6 HD remakes, and Resident Evil Revelations.

IMO sports games are the best local multiplayer games (FIFA is fantastic) and the screen isnít split into two either.

System Shock 1 remake becomes another (temporary?) casualty of Kickstarter mismanagement: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/20...on-kickstarter

At least we still have Prey (the spiritual System Shock 3) and the upcoming System Shock 3 (the for-real System Shock 3).

Ah, that sucks. I was really looking forward to it. While I didn't mind Prey it really didn't turn my crank in the same fashion. Hopefully System Shock 3 fares better.

Anyone try the indie title "Banished"? What a fun little city builder game, takes awhile to get used to the resource system, a lot of dead folks, but its a helluva game.

Hey AG, I know for CoD WW2 you can sign in as guest and play online together. It just will add a (1) to your username indicating it's a guest. Try signing in to the main account, and on the other controller sign in as "Guest". Then go to the lobby and see if there's an option for Guest to press "A" to join game.
