It's a super easy answer. Big Bang isn't an explanation of how the universe came to be, rather how it expanded.

Close but not quite, it pretty much covers the beginning of classical spacetime, as described by Einstein in his theory of relativity. It cannot explain the exactmoment of time zero. It can't say anything about quantum time as you good Connor being a scholar of string theory should know

Sean Carroll has an excellent lecture to go along with his his book which I found awesome. It's called The Arrow Of Time it proposes multiverse theory, which has become very popular among prominent physicists, still can't be falsified though. If I wasn't on my phone, I'd link it to YouTube, I'll do it later.

I don't follow. The BBT is in fact a theorized single moment in time that doesn't attempt to explain the universe's origin. How the conditions existed for there to be a BBT is what you're referring to, no?

Also when I first addressed this post I had not seen any of the new research the poster was obviously alluding to

This is really cool. When's the last time a movie ever made scientific discoveries?

I got to see him a couple years ago. He was talking about the Higgs Boson, but still a great talk.

This is interesting. I didn't even know Earth had a second moon/dwarf planet.

But all 30 teams have to stay agile, and have to understand that we're dealing with human beings, and these assets to organizations are human and change and evolve. I think what we've tried to do is become more flexible and agile, and to sustain championships is to build from within."

Man it looks like there is so much cool shit in this thread and I've barely had a chance to look at any of it. Eventually I will!

    Kudos to all y'all.
