    Official Off Topic Thread

I thought it might be useful to create a thread for small things that we don't want to clog up the board with new topics for.

I'll kick it off with this article about a Saudi prince suing Forbes for defamation after his net worth was underestimated...

The craziest quote I've ever heard, courtesy of Mike Tyson reflecting on his childhood:

“One morning I woke up and found my favorite pigeon, Julius, had died I was devastated and was gonna use his crate as my stickball bat to honor him. I left the crate on my stoop and went in to get something and I returned to see the sanitation man put the crate into the crusher. I rushed him and caught him flush on the temple with a titanic right hand he was out cold, convulsing on the floor like an infantile retard.”

Atlanta police going after more speeders to fund their own pay increases. Brutal.

Soccer ref red cards player, then stabs him. Spectators retaliate and beat, stone, lynch, quarter, and behead the ref. Can we move to Mars yet?

A couple of pretty amazing events captured on film.

    1) Impala jumps into tourist’s car to escape two attacking cheetahs.

    2) Holy Shit - Egyptian Photographer Ahmed Assem films sniper, then gets Shot By Sniper And Films His Own Death

I was reading through the Norton 360 license agreement this morning. I found this part rather hilarious:

USE OR FACILITATION OF SYMANTEC PRODUCT IN
CONNECTION WITH ANY ACTIVITY INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, FABRICATION, TRAINING, OR TESTING OF CHEMICAL, BIOLOGICAL, OR NUCLEAR MATERIALS, OR MISSILES, DRONES, OR SPACE LAUNCH VEHICLES CAPABLE OF DELIVERING WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION IS PROHIBITED, IN ACCORDANCE WITH U.S. LAW.

I guess those WMD's will have to rely on another service for virus protection

Awesome. Love space stuff. After watching Gravity, the gf and I have been on a space kick. We watched The Right Stuff and are followed that up with From the Earth to the Moon.
