Or by cutting wasteful spending. I wasn't aware that cutting tax on gas was the only thing in his plan.

Boy, anything to keep that liberal train rolling, huh? The Libs and NDP could be calling for a communist revolution and you'd probably complain that Doug Ford is cancelling the 15$ min wage increase.

    In fairness though.

    Doug Ford wants to:

    - reduce corporate taxes
    - eliminate taxes for anyone making under 30k
    - reduce taxes for everyone making over 30k
    - reduce gas taxes
    - eliminate the cap and trade (and billions of revenue)
    - invest heavily in new subway lines

But his main concern is eliminating the deficit.

And his plan to find all this money to eliminate the deficit and to get rid of all these taxes consists of:

    - finding efficiencies in government.

And they haven't even released a platform with less than three weeks to go. I mean, I agree with some of what he says, but you have to admit that's a little scary.

Agreed, I voted Elliott. People associate Doug to his brother, see the dummy above this post.

This election easily belonged to the conservatives for the taking. If they actually had a competent leader, I was totally ready to vote for them.

Ford can say all he want about eliminating the deficit, but when he doesn't say how he's going to do so. Cutting unspecified "wasteful spending" is not going to dig the province out of the fucking mes it's in.

Lastly, an majority government again is just.....ugh.
