Bet365 has the Indians now at +145 (Money Line).

I want the Cubs to win though....

Bet $16,000 on Matt garza and Brewers to win $26,000 against Diamondbacks in May 2013. They won 8-3. Biggest rush ever. Only made small bets since then, don't think I have won any of them.

Why would you bet that much on a single baseball game? rofl.

Used to have a major gambling problem while working in mining industry. Lost $30,000 in Vegas in 5 minutes. $15,000 of it was credit card, rest cash.

In 2013 I hadn't followed baseball for a few years and had lost $2000 playing poker and went crazy, decided to max out credit card and bet the best record in the mlb on the worst. Didn't even look at pitchers. Brewers won that game but dropped the next 2 they played to the Diamondbacks. Early May 2013, game was May 5 maybe?

2014 never mind. Had just started getting back into baseball that year for first time since 2006 or so when I stopped consistently watching the Jay's. Didn't really know how about the current game or cared at the time. Was finally able to start watching every game this season, first time having cable in 10 years. Would never make a bit bet on a favourite like that again knowing how volatile baseball can be

Remember decided to research the teams a bit after the bet was made. The Brewers had just lost 4 of 5, offence was slumping. The Diamondbacks had also had a good record against them the last few times they played. I got the bet in 5 minutes before game time. I almost missed it and was going to bet on them the next night if my bet didn't get in time. Marco Estrada pitched the next game and they ended up losing 5-7

Sat in the hotel hot tub and watched on mlb.com at bat thing. Was close 3-3 until the 6th I think, finally relaxed when it was 8-3

Completely unrelated to betting...but me and my group of friends go to bar lie in our 20's was that we were from Timmins. We had been in the mine for 4 months, we just got paid and hadn't seen a woman in a really long time so we flew to Toronto. One night a real miner (not minor as we had met many times) overhears us telling our lie to a lady and proceeds to ask us a million questions about our mine. Our lies weren't great but he bought us about $200 worth a drinks...fun story. Well except for the guy that had to give him the handjob...but it wasn't me so fun story.

no, but when I tell the story now he did. All bar stories should have a handjob worked in.

Another non baseball part. The host at the Wynn gave me a nice suite and $500 at a steak house. I ate a $300 steak and $200 glass of wine in a shirt I had been wearing 3 days and shorts with holes and piss stains on them. I was embarrassed because I didn't have a cent to tip the waiter.

I actually felt bad and called in a tip on my credit card from home a few weeks later. Had to call my brother and have him book me a flight home. He was the machine operator and I was his labourer for our mining job, had to beg him to go back to work the next day to pick up another 6 week shift. We had finished our 6 week shift underground 2 days earlier and were supposed to have a month off. Casino still emails me offers for free rooms all the time

A few slip ups for $100-1000 but got married and no major bets in the last year or so.
