Graham DeLaet leading the RBC Heritage at the moment with a 2 stroke lead -10... Nick Taylor tied in 4th at -7 and Adam Hadwin in the top 20 at -5... good showing thus far by the Canucks.

McKenzie Hughes tied for the lead after round 1 at Sawgrass.

My favorite tournament of the year!

Hughes shit the bed in round 2 but another Canuck is now in the lead, David Hearn.

Lots of players left to go today but he shot a great -3 today for a -5 total after 2 rounds.

Ponte Vedra Beach area is quite nice, Marriott Sawgrass is actually quite affordable and has continuous shuttles to the adjacent course and to their excellent beach club.

Hearn has imploded. He started round 3 at 5 under, and is now shooting 9over par on the day ( 4 over total) after 15 holes.

    Ouch.

My good friend's son is playing the U.S. Junior Amateur in Kansas this week. Here is his player write up (Spelled his name wrong the second time.

Angelo Giantsopoulos, 17, of Canada, is competing in his first USGA championship. He will attend Drexel University in 2017-18. Giantsopoulus was the runner-up in the 2016 Northern Junior Championship and placed third at the Junior Spring Championship in his home province of Ontario. His sister Elaine was a 2016 Drive, Chip & Putt national finalist and competed at Augusta National.

Yeah, and free to get in this year! That doesn't suck. I'm fortunate it's only an hour-ish drive so I get there quite a few times every year. 1st time on the golf course there though, incredible scenery

He started today or close to it at T-3rd... pooping all over his round 4 over and T-16 now. Spieth or Kuchar got this, wouldn't mind seeing Kooch win though.

Spieth is close to securing it now. That would be 3 out of 4 majors he's won already at 24 years old.
