Hutch has done more for this team by being traded than playing.

Drew Hutchison turned into Liriano, McGuire, Ramirez, Aoki, and Hernandez.

93rd on KATOH's midseason top-100 prospects. I don't think he showed up on any other midseason lists. BA maybe?

That's a very good return for Liriano, who we might end up resigning again in the offseason anyway lol.

Wow, good move. Basically paying for Liriano and Aoki in order to get a decent prospect. Might as well use the money for good.

Aoki was probably our post season reserve fund.

I think we've pretty much seen the end of Liriano as a starter, except possibly a spot starter. The Astros appear to have acquired him as a left reliever, which is a role he could really succeed in.

    Lol exactly

We got prospects both when we traded FOR Liriano AND when we traded him away

All for a few million $$

    I like it

Yeah, he's finished as a SP. Could see him as one of those guys who extends his career another half decade as a reliever though.

Pleased with this deal. Looks like there's a good chance of having at least one 25 man OF next year from Hernandez, Alford and Smith Jr. Ages next year = 25, 24 and 25.

He's been killing it for the last 4 weeks or so. SSS, but he looks like himself again.

Sweet Baby jebus, this front office turned Hutch into 3 decent prospects and 2 major leaguers.
