Ervin Santana is like, a fine starter and everything, he's a guy most teams could use in their rotation, but man he's got to be the most disappointing Wild Card game starter in recent memory.

The Twins are a feel good story, and anything can happen in a single game playoff, but it's almost impossible to argue that the Yankees aren't the more deserving team.

Wouldn't it be the same as the Jays starting Marco Estrada in a WC game?

Hm, fair enough I guess, although the Jays' pitching staff last season was substantially better than the Twins', ours was more "all starters are pretty decent" versus the Twins who are Santana, Berrios and yikes. I mean, Jesus Christ the Orioles started Chris Tillman lmao.

Could these Twins be a team of destiny or have they run out of horseshoes? Wouldnt surprise me to see them beat the Yanks.
When I finish a job nobody sees me leave. I'm either swallowed up by the night or disappear in the mist.

Still annoys me that the 2nd WC team is as shitty as the Twins are. Damn the AL outside of the top 4 teams sucked ass this year.

Bold prediction, just because I feel like making an ass of myself:

The Twins tee off on Severino, forcing him to leave the game before the 5th. Dozier jacks two homers. Yankees come back to make a game of it, win in the 10th on a Judge bomb (his first hit of the game).

So what's with Trevor Bauer starting game 1 of the ALDS for the Tribe? Even if you want Kluber ready to go for games 2 and 5, why not Carrasco who is much better?

Holding off on Kluber seems iffy, since you don't want to exit after game four with your ace on the bench. Still, it could also allow them to start Kluber in game 1 of the next series if the series doesn't go five. Hard call.
