Jays met with CC.....not wanting any of that at all
See the ball and let it fly, Watch the ball soaring through the sky, Higher like a comet in the night air, Defying gravity is rare, Let the ball fly, Its homerun time!!!!!

CC on a short term deal would be fine with me. The Fa market sucks. He might end up being one of the better valued guys out there.

Either way, the Yankees saved money, so chances are they will bring him back unless they prefer trading prospects for a young starter with more control.

Agreed would love Sabathia. Would be a great fit. Hope its happens but expecting New York or Anaheim.

On a one year deal I'd be happy to have him as a vet #5 innings eater. He gave the Yankees some dependable innings even after his stuff declined and they have great things to say about him as a pro. Probably would be a good mentor for our younger arms.

Yeah, considering that the 5th starter is Joe Biagini, Sabathia would be a welcome addition.

I would still rather Liriano. I really hate watching CC pitch. He kinda oozes around.

Oh, there's no chance I'd watch any CC starts. Watching that giant gut shake around is fucking disgusting.

I dont care what anyone looks like, if you can put up 6 innings and eat 150 IP in the 5 spot I am more than happy with bringing in a short term commitment.

    I do! For the right price I think he'd be a fantastic #5. 2-years, $18M?

He could definitely mentor some of the kids on the finer points of alcoholism.
I donít suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

I don't know man, Liriano can get pretty unwatchable at times. He's such a wild card.

    Fuck bringing Liriano back.

Watching him throw 65% of his pitches for balls 4/5 of his starts is not something I want to see again.

First of all it was functioning alcoholic...secondly when he was young it wasn't alcohol it was just about fame and acting like a child (dating Serena will mess anyone up). I'd say that he was a lot like how Stro is now. He matured poorly as he hit the bottle when that life wasn't the same.

In 2016 when the Yankees would play in Toronto Sabathia would stay at a different hotel then the rest of the team to be away from all of the partying lol.
