I'm sorry, but it's true--this Angels team is playing way over its head. It's the same damn team that struggled to score last season--Simmons is not going to keep hitting .373 (as of writing). Facing teams like the Rangers and A's with garbage pitching staffs inflate numbers. Wait until they play the Yankees and Red Sox.. and of course the Astros. And let's see Ohtani actually face a team other than Oakland..

They're already having to dig deep for depth due to injuries--Jaime Barria (21 years old) is making his MLB debut tomorrow after only 2 IP in AAA Salt Lake because Tropeano and Heaney aren't quite ready yet, and even those two are no more than backend starters.

Red Sox on the other hand--are legit. Astros as well.

Took him and Strasburg as my two pitcher selections today, looking good so far.

    Lindor .159
    Edwin .158
    Jose Ramirez .132
    Brantley .154

Crazy to have so many good hitters hitting so poorly all at once and obviously there's nowjere to go but up. And it's just impressive how their pitching is carrying them

They also have faced a top notch Cleveland staff but you wouldn't care to mention them huh? Do you have some strange hatred bias towards the angels or something?

2 weeks you called the Angels a "circus organization" based solely on the fact they were letting Ohtani hit after a poor spring training

Btw, he's gone on to post a 258 wRC+ so far at the dish including taking Corey Kluber deep

Brandon McCarthy has been diagnosed with a left shoulder subluxation.

Advice: In other words, McCarthy partially dislocated his shoulder in that awkward play at first base Wednesday versus the Nationals. It's to his non-throwing arm, so that's the good news, but the veteran right-hander could still need some time off. McCarthy had thrown five innings of one-run ball on just 61 pitches Wednesday before he left the game. He holds a strong 3.31 ERA in 16 1/3 innings this season.
Fuck me... I own him in 3 league's, lol. That guy is made of glass.

Lets stick on guys made of glass, shall we...

Mets placed C Travis d'Arnaud on the 10-day disabled list with a partially torn UCL in his right elbow.

Advice: The injury-prone 29-year-old backstop could very well be facing season-ending Tommy John surgery. It's rough news for the Mets, who have otherwise flourished in the early part of the 2018 regular season. Tomas Nido has been called up from Double-A Binghamton to share time behind the plate with Kevin Plawecki.
