Paxton's really good.
Whats the record for most 90 losses team in an MLB season. I bet we can surpass that record easily this year.
There are so many bad teams in baseball this season. Like, an abnormal amount of bad teams. In the AL alone you have Baltimore, Tampa, Detroit, Chicago, KC, Oakland, and Texas. Half the damn AL is going to suck. Not very fun. The Twins will make the playoffs despite being mediocre as hell most likely.

Actually, Oakland might have a better chance of getting above .500 unlike the rest--they do have some good starters in the rotation in Triggs, Manaea and Mendgen, and the bullpen hasn't been too bad (only big hole is Chris Hatcher). And that offense is pretty strong--Chapman is an early MVP candidate(1.5 WAR), hitting well and playing a very good 3B. Only real holes are CF and the #4-5 spots in the rotation in Graveman(9.87 ERA) and Gossett(who's been sent to AAA). Hopefully Cahill might be able to stabilize that rotation.
Texas is a dumpster fire getting clobbered by injuries. It's 2014 all over again.. can't hit or pitch, missing Odor and Andrus, and DeShields.. and Drew Robinson has been one of the worst players on the Rangers. And Joey Gallo has been like JP Arencibia with the bat.. high power and no ability to walk so far this year.

Has anyone noticed Bryce Harper's OF defense for some mysterious reason, has fallen off a cliff this season? I know it's a small sample size--but something is off with him. Maybe it partially explains why the Nats are under .500--along with a crappy bullpen and backend of the rotation.
Sure, Bryce Harper is hitting a ton and walking a lot.. but what happened to his glove?
Nooooooooo...
An MRI taken Tuesday on Taijuan Walker's right elbow showed damage in his ulnar collateral ligament.
Advice: This sort of diagnosis often leads to Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery, but Walker will go for a second opinion Wednesday in New York before any decisions are made. The former top Mariners prospect had a breakout year with the Diamondbacks in 2017, registering a 3.49 ERA and 146 strikeouts across 157 1/3 innings. He was sporting a 3.46 ERA through three starts this season.
