Also - Gibby seemed to be assuming Hernandez would be starting when he was interviewed late last year. I think heíll get a fair chance.

IMO heíd have to be really bad to not at least be Carreraís mid-term replacement as 4th outfielder, with a chance of being a starter if he does reasonably well.

    Or is that too much.
I donít know that itís too much, but I think itís the wrong combination of players. I think you move Osuna for multiple top prospects, not in a package for one star player.

Iíd rather look at something that included Bichette and Pearson + for Yelich and then move Osuna for 2-3 top prospects.

That's a really nice list ... provided we don't wake up in a week or two and find JPA has wormed himself into the backup catcher's role.

Teoscar struck out a metric ton amount of times last season. I don't mind giving him a spot but he has to get back to around 25% K% to be a decent outfielder.

The Jays have to decide between Morales and Pearce. Can't keep both on the team. We all know who the better player is, but being better means he's an asset, while Kendrys has no value at all.

Yeah, Teoscar needs to be given competition as he might be alright but he might really suck too.

His K% in AAA for the Astros was only 20.7% last year and was in the high teens in AA/AAA in 2016. He also walked a lot more in Houston that he did with us. His K% spiked in Buffalo and with the Jays last year, but hopefully that's a SSS.

Am I the only one who thinks that, given an outfield of Pillar, Hernandez and Alford, that Pillar would be the worst of them? I know I'm higher on Alford than most, and I think Teoscar could be an above average MLB regular next year, but... Is that just me?

Pillar could be a minus player next year and I wouldn't be surprised. He has so much clout built up that he could break a leg and he'd still force his way into the lineup to hobble around and flail at the plate.

One of the easiest sell high decisions was before last season.

He had one of the highest difference between his expected wOBA and his actual wOBA (in a bad way) so I'm curious why the FO keeps pumping his tires given they are believers in that information.

I'm fine with giving them a shot... not sure if they're better than Pillar in overall value(yet), should be interesting moving forward.
