He had a wrist injury IIRC

Could be. I think I'd dump him or Pearce. The 6 mil or so we'd get in moving either of them could be used to invest in the bullpen. Might be tough to find a taker for either though. I don't think either is that bad but I don't think either of them are better players than Teoscar Hernandez at this point.

FA RP's a pretty much a crap shoot unless you are buying Holland

I think a platoon of Pearce/Granderson is potentially better the Teoscar. This way Pearce is limited and hopefully can keep him off the DL.

Legit might be a better OF than the Jays had in 2017.

IMO Teoscar needs to be given a chance to start at this stage of his career to see if he can be a part of the future team. Neither of Pearce and Granderson will be here in 2019.

The more I think about it, the more Iím leaning towards a Pearce trade. He no longer fits with the roster as it is IMO.

I’d definitely take Oh on a small major league deal.

Same. He's got more value on the cover of a magazine than on the field.

At least Randal doesn't look like a foot, which when including Leone in the deal translates into a lateral move in the attractiveness department for the organization.

It could be better than Teoscar. Is it 12 million dollars better than him? I don't think so. And Teoscar/Granderson is better anyway. I actually really like Teoscar and Grichuk. Power bats who can field. With adjustments they could become very good players.

I saw enough from Pearce to know that he just cannot play the OF at all. He looked like Adam Lind out there. I think if they dealt Morales they could put him at DH.

Well Zeke reminds of Nien Nunb every time I see him. So he should probably be on the move as well.

Pearce is wasted as an outfielder. Heís blocked at 1B by a better player, and blocked at DH by a player with an almost unmovable contract.

Hernandez instead of Pearce rotating with Carrera, Grichuk and Granderson in LF & RF has more upside. If Hernandez does well he becomes a starter, if he fails then Alford gets his chance.

One of Morales or Pearce needs to go.

Pearce is probably just the odd man out. Someone will be interested in him as lefty masher if not now or at the deadline for sure. Cut or trade Zeke. Granderson fills the only role he might have useful in.
