Yup. Unfortunately I canít see anyone taking Morales contract without us eating salary or adding a prospect, so we might as well keep him and hope he improves IMO.

Meh, decent trade... if we get '16 Grichuk moving forward, that would be just peachy. A little expensive considering the going rate for RP's, but in the end Bat >>> RP's. Now Cobb, an RP and using the Beeg for multiple innings as previously used and we're good.

Ideally trade Morales and Pearce becomes primary DH.

Not a huge fan of this based on the price. So are we spending on a SP now?
See the ball and let it fly, Watch the ball soaring through the sky, Higher like a comet in the night air, Defying gravity is rare, Let the ball fly, Its homerun time!!!!!

Pearce/Granderson platoon at DH with both being capable part time players at 1B and LF when players need time off. Its remarkable the flexibility we now have in positional players.

I'd like to move Pillar for a starter and then sign Cain for CF.

I think the Wildcard is Connor Greene. His numbers in the minors were shit as a SP but he throws high 90s. If he turns into a good reliever and Grichuk remains around a 2 win player then STL is likely ahead.

That plan works although Grichuk is a slightly above average CFer too. Now could be the time to move Pillar.

Well if you don't like Greene I guess that means he becomes an ace now?

Why do so many people seem to hate the Blue Jays on social media lol. Seems every move they make you get people so mad with the org. Even happened during the AA era...

I know fans are stupid but its honestly ridiculous.

It would be awesome if Shatkins could manage to trade Morales. I think itís unlikely though, whereas Pearce could probably bring back a small return of value. Maybe the Padres realise that signing Hosmer would be an overpayment and give us one of their surplus of relievers for Pearce.

Quickly moving from a Stars and Scrubs team to a team with depth. Great way to rebuild in my opinion. Eventually start replacing players with Bo and Vlad and add some stars back into the mix, in the meantime shoot for the wild card and keep the season interesting.
I feel we will see a few more moves to address pitching depth soon...

Ross Atkins believes Randal Grichuk can potentially be an everyday player for them in RF this season. Heíll get the opportunity to win that job at least. #BlueJays

We have a huge fanbase that is probably dumber than average. So anytime big money isn't being spent in FA they are up in arms over it.
