Perhaps the most jarring thing you'll ever see as a baseball fan and the biggest wake-up call that Baseball is now in its first work stoppage in a generation: MLB.com has been scrubbed of all active MLB players.

The home page does not mention any active players in any capacity, the "Players" section of the site has been killed and removed from the navigation menu, the Video library has been hidden and all player photos have been removed.

This is most likely because the MLB no longer has rights to using the players' likeness since no CBA exists between the two parties.

Yeah, I thought so too. But I read an article tonight from CBC that says "spooky" is racist and problematic as well.

You know what would be great? If the Internet collectively would scrub all mention of Tony Clark and Manfred. No news stations would even send out a reporter to cover any of it.

We'd have an agreement in 2 weeks.

I hope it's short, both sides must set their greed aside.

I'd appreciate if a mod could put expressions into a white-list and black-list, so we know which ones to avoid.
If we don't win this year we'll win next year, if we don't win next year we'll win the year after that.
