Gut feeling, but Vlad hasn’t been the guy out to maximize his value at every stop (like Bo). He never complained about the service time manipulation. He never rejected pre-arb raises. He never has been to an arb hearing. He’s made it publicly known that he wants to stay long term, multiple times in fact. He understands to get a deal done at this point, both sides will have to meet in the middle.
Like I think if you offer him $300M over 10 years today with some opt outs, he probably takes it. I think that’s a pretty good middle ground.

There are far worse players in league including this team who will earn much more than Bo. He is one of the leaders on this team and one of the better hitters in this league.
He works hard on this game, including defence. SS who hit as well as him are hard to find. The gap is not a whole lot between the two in actual numbers even though as per arb standards it is the highest.
Keep one of the key players on team happy especially in a contending year!!!

But a higher fence? Vladdy better up that launch angle or he's getting robbed.
120 MPH screamers off the wall for a single.

Shapiro did say they ran a bunch of simulations and that the park would play roughly the same, but its hard to imagine thats true looking at these dimensions lol
Rip to the pitchers
Forgot the walls are like 15 feet high, so it probably balances out
I guess Jays fans can no longer complain about Yankee Stadium home runs anymore.
